Endodontic Therapy (Root canals)
A root canal is needed when an infection or inflammation is in the roots or pulp/nerve of the tooth. The purpose of the root canal is to eliminate the infection and pain from the tooth and save the tooth from extraction. During root canal therapy we will remove the infected tissue, clean the canals and fill the canals with a permanent, biocompatible material. The opening is then sealed with a filling and protected with a crown.
